Android Alice: The Interview

Android Alice Maxx: Serves clients better.

October 2012

Question: So what’s with this photo?
The Agent Alice: The photo is inspired by Sleeveface, but is different. It marks that three weeks ago I converted from a Blackberry to a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx.

Q: Which phone did you use before your Blackberry?
A: Was there life before Blackberry?

Q: How’s the migration going?
A: Caribou migrate. Alice upgrades.

Q: OK. How does it feel to let go of your Blackberry?
A: I miss her. We were as one.

Q: What was so good about her?
A: She fit in my hand comfortably. And, she did one thing very, very well: send messages with the hard keyboard. I could sit at a dinner table holding the Blackberry under the table and key messages without anyone knowing. My job is not 9 to 5.

Q: So what was the problem?
A: One great flaw. I could not read attached documents.

Q: How do you feel about the new Android device?
A: We’re still getting to know each other. It’s only been three weeks. It’s much more bulky. It seems like a “mannish” phone.

even during her photo shoot.

Q: What do you like about the Razr Maxx?
A: The screen is beautiful. I can open and read attached documents.

I helped a client close a deal recently because I could read a 60-plus page contract on the Razr and respond within one hour.

I must get used to this new tool because it helps me do my job better.

Q: On the Testimonials page, one of your clients wrote:
“Your business card describes you as a ‘Special Agent.’ I bet you can re-task satellites with your phone!”

Did you ever do that — re-task satellites with your phone?
A: I cannot reveal that information.
